NR4 slips for non-resident landlords
Get help with year-end reporting for your Canadian rental income and non-resident tax withheld.
No documents or payment needed to get started.
What is an NR4?
An NR4 slip reports certain Canadian income paid or credited to a non-resident and the tax withheld. For a rental property, it records the year’s rental income and non-resident withholding tax. The NR4 information return includes the slips and an NR4 Summary.
NR4 reporting is separate from an NR6 application and a Section 216 income tax return. If you’re unsure which filings you need, start by telling us about your situation.
